Gaslighting is real – it IS a form of emotional abuse.
Here are some thing to look out for in intimate relationships. Remember that gas lighting can happen in your family, in your relationships and at work. Wherever it is going on it affects your self-esteem and eventually you question your sanity!
You end up feeling deflated, incapable, with lots of self-doubt. The self-doubt and increasing self-hatred do the most damage.
As soon as you realise this is happening to you, please get help. Seek a counsellor or therapist for guidance with this.
