This has been one of the main themes of the Unity Group retreat. How do we tell those we love and respect when they have done something that did not sit well with us?
This can be tricky! In the past I have felt myself say nothing, out of fear of being rejected or hurting the other person. As a spiritual teacher I have had to speak my truth more and more and sometimes tell people things they may not want to hear. This is a stretch for me because of old social conditioning that wanted me to be a “good girl” and to be liked by everyone…..hard work!
Within a group that is consciously moving into more and more unity with one another and that is striving for authenticity and empowerment it is vital we are real with each other.
Have a think about what you have NOT said, and know that you may be depriving a loved one of some vital information that could really help them.
